Our goal is to provide safe and comfortable transportation for all students who are eligible for transportation. We strive to attain this goal in a spirit of cooperation and understanding. School bus stops and pickup times are established by the Transportation Office prior to the start of school in September. School buses pick up and discharge students only at regularly scheduled stops.
Students who live within one-half mile of the school may not be eligible for bus transportation. If you have any questions regarding eligibility please call the Transportation Office. If you are not eligible and are interested in carpooling, please call the Main Office.
Students must ride on their assigned buses. Parents must get permission from the Transportation Office before making arrangements for children to go home on different buses. Some of our buses are filled to capacity and cannot accommodate additional children. You can reach the Transportation Office at (914) 241-6001.
The use of bus transportation is a privilege. The bus ride to and from school should be a pleasant and safe experience for ALL students. Bus drivers will report specific infractions to the principal in writing on a Bus Conduct Form. Serious violations of the rules listed below may result in suspension or loss of bus privileges. Students are expected to observe the following bus procedures and rules:
